VTuber Illustration & Live2D Rigging for Overseas Clients

We offer VTuber illustration and Live2D modeling services.
Please read and agree to these terms before placing an order.

Article 1: Agreement

• By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
• The creator is not responsible for misunderstandings due to failure to read these terms.
• All works are created based on prior agreement with the client and are not AI-generated.

Article 2: Creator’s Rights

• The creator reserves the right to showcase completed works on social media and in portfolios. Please inform us in advance if you prefer not to have your work displayed.
• The creator may stream the creation process. Please let us know beforehand if you prefer privacy.

Article 3: Service Scope

【Available Services】

• Illustration + Live2D modeling
• Live2D modeling only (if you provide separated part illustrations)

【Renewals & Modifications】

• If you wish to renew or modify an existing model, please consult with us first. Additional fees may apply depending on the content.
• If requesting modifications to a model created by another illustrator/modeler, you must obtain permission from the original creator before contacting us. We cannot accept requests without confirmed permission.

Article 4: Revisions & Retakes

【Free Revision Policy】

• Rough draft stage: Up to 3 items × 3 rounds (free)
• After line art/coloring: Minor adjustments only, 1 round (free)
• Major changes (pose changes, costume redesigns, adding new parts/features, etc.) will incur additional fees.

【Major changes include】

• Pose or costume design changes
• Hairstyle changes
• Adding new variations or parts
• Expanding rig specifications

【Revisions per Request】

• Up to 3 items per revision request. 4+ items count as additional rounds or require separate quotation.

【Creator Errors】

• Corrections due to creator mistakes are provided free of charge and do not count toward your revision limit.

【Post-Delivery Adjustments】

• Minor issues within 7 days of delivery are fixed free of charge. Additional features or external software setup assistance are paid services.

【Schedule Impact】

• Excessive revisions, major changes, split instructions, or frequent revisions may result in deadline extensions and additional fees.

【Response Deadline】

• If no response is received for 4+ days after a progress update, we may proceed to the next phase to maintain schedule. Subsequent changes may incur fees.

Article 5: Rights Holder Permission

• Clients must obtain permission from the rights holder (original illustrator/modeler) before requesting modifications.
• We accept requests on the assumption that clients have obtained such permission.
• We may decline requests if we determine there is a risk of infringing third-party rights.
• If disputes arise due to lack of proper permission, the client is responsible for resolution at their own expense. We are not liable unless we have gross negligence.
• If we suffer damages due to such disputes, the client shall compensate us.

Article 6: Pricing & Payment

• Pricing is based on the price list or individual quotation.
• Invoices are issued electronically upon delivery.
• Payment is due within 7 days of delivery.
• Accepted payment methods: Bank transfer, PayPay, PayPal
• If payment is not received by the deadline, usage rights are automatically suspended. Clients must promptly remove published content as reasonably requested.
• We comply with Japan’s Freelance Protection Act.

Article 7: Cancellation & Refunds

• Cancellation fees apply after booking confirmation or production start

Article 8: Copyright & Usage Rights

【Copyright】

• Copyright (economic rights) remains with the creator.
• If you wish to purchase full copyright transfer, this can be arranged with an additional contract and fee. However, moral rights (right of attribution, right of integrity) cannot be transferred by law and remain with the creator.
• Copyright transfer becomes effective upon full payment. Until then, usage is limited to the licensed scope.

【Usage Rights】

• Clients may use the work for commercial purposes and monetization (either through license or ownership after transfer).

【Credit】

• We appreciate (but do not require) credit as “@kraz_beta” when using the work.

Article 9: Prohibited Uses

• Using the work as AI training data
• Uses contrary to public order and morals (e.g., adult content, excessive violence, political/religious activities) – consultation required.
• Providing, modifying, or altering the model/Live2D data to third parties without permission. For renewals or modifications, please consult us.
• Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, sale, or resale.
• Using the work in NFTs, blockchain, or cryptocurrency-related technologies.

Article 10: Disclaimers

• We are not responsible for issues arising from the client’s usage environment or streaming software issues after delivery.
• Performance issues (lag, color differences, display glitches) caused by differences in streaming/usage environments (PC specs, GPU drivers, monitor settings/color gamut, streaming/tracking software settings, OBS conversion/encoder settings, etc.) are not considered creator defects.

Article 11: Performance Guarantee & Display Environment

【Quality Standards】

• Primary standard: Proper display and behavior in Live2D Cubism Viewer (latest version)
• Secondary verification: Loading and basic functionality in VTube Studio (PC version/standard settings)
• Works that function properly in both environments are considered compliant.

【Color Differences】

• Color variations caused by device/app/streaming settings (monitor color gamut/temperature, smartphone True Tone/vivid settings, VTS/OBS color space/encoding settings, etc.) are environment-related and not considered creator defects.

【Environment-Specific Issues】

• We will provide setup advice to the best of our ability for behavioral/quality differences caused by individual environments. However, color re-adjustments, recoloring, model modifications, or redesigns after line art stage will incur additional fees.

【Technical Issues】

• Lag or display issues may occur due to PC specs, GPU drivers, or streaming/tracking software (VTS/OBS, etc.) settings.
• If the model works properly in Viewer but has issues only in your environment, it’s likely due to environment settings. We provide setup advice (free), but model adjustments or feature additions are paid services.

【Color Specification】

• If you have specific color requirements, please provide color codes (HEX or RGB). We will use those as the standard. Note that colors may appear differently on different devices/apps.

Article 12: Amendment of Terms

• We may amend these terms as necessary. Amendments become effective upon posting on this website.
